Next, for automotive testing where high current measurements are typically done at the output channels, we will look into how this measurement is done; with or without loads and by instantaneous or continuous measurements. Then, we will discuss s ...

HMC6590

... The HMC6590 is a high-speed, high gain, low-power limiting transimpedance amplifier (TIA) used in optical receivers with data rates up to 43 Gbps. It features low input referred noise, 36 GHz bandwidth, 4 kohm differential small signal transimpedance and output cross point adjustment. HMC6590 exhibi ...

MAX769EVKIT

... The MAX769 evaluation kit (EV kit) provides a platform for evaluating the features of the MAX769. The MAX769 converts a 2-cell or 3-cell, 1.5V to 5.5V battery voltage to four separate output voltages. The main output voltage at OUT is digitally controlled from 1.8V to 4.9V in 100mV steps by a 3-wire ...

...  The actuation force is low, since tilting actuates the switch.  Since the terminals are wetted by a fairly large amount of mercury, contact resistance is very small.  Current interruption does not harm the mercury. Thus, there is no contact to burn out. The only limitation is overheating produce ...

... available: 20, 24, 40 and 63A. The 20A contactors have an AC-coil and as a consequence can only be used on AC. The 24, 40 and 63A-contactors all have a DC-coil which makes them absolutely noise-free (NO 50Hznoise). A built-in rectifier bridge allows the use of AC as well as on DC at all times. The c ...

Larger Schottky diodes have a larger saturation current and a smaller series resistance , but also larger junction and substrate capacitances, which then may dominate the power losses, so that an optimum size of the Schottky diode has to be found. Similarly, for the coupling capacitors ...

Buck converter

A buck converter is a voltage step down and current step up converter. The simplest way to reduce the voltage of a DC supply is to use a linear regulator (such as a 7805), but linear regulators waste energy as they operate by dissipating excess power as heat. Buck converters, on the other hand, can be remarkably efficient (95% or higher for integrated circuits), making them useful for tasks such as converting the main voltage in a computer (12V in a desktop, 12-24V in a laptop) down to the 0.8-1.8V needed by the processor.
