TIA-4000 Optical/Electrical Converter
TIA-4000 Optical/Electrical Converter

... Typical optical return loss is 52 dB and is caused primarily by the FC/APC connector employed. The applied bias voltage controls the gain of the APD. This voltage in turn, is controlled by means of the two push buttons on the top panel. The rightmost button increases the gain and the leftmost button ...

... 2.24 V, RDY output is triggered HIGH and lasts until the INV voltage is lower than 2.051 V. When input AC voltage is quite high, for example 240 VAC, PFC output voltage is always higher than RDY threshold, regardless of boost converter operation. In this case, the INV voltage is already higher than ...

Buck converter

A buck converter is a voltage step down and current step up converter. The simplest way to reduce the voltage of a DC supply is to use a linear regulator (such as a 7805), but linear regulators waste energy as they operate by dissipating excess power as heat. Buck converters, on the other hand, can be remarkably efficient (95% or higher for integrated circuits), making them useful for tasks such as converting the main voltage in a computer (12V in a desktop, 12-24V in a laptop) down to the 0.8-1.8V needed by the processor.
