Criticism of the United Nations

Criticism of the United Nations has been ideologically diverse, although much of it is focused upon the UN's purported inability to handle international conflicts, even on a small scale. Critics argue that this makes the UN Charter largely unenforceable. Other criticisms tend to focus on the UN's alleged elitism or its presumed support of genocidal policies.
