cluster algebras in algebraic lie theory
cluster algebras in algebraic lie theory

Although there can be infinitely many generators and relations, they are all obtained from a finite number of them by means of an inductive procedure called mutation. The precise definition of a cluster algeb ...

According to this view, it does not make sense to ascribe intrinsic properties (such as position or velocity) to isolated quantum entities (such as electrons, photons or other elementary particles). The properties of quantum systems only make sense in light of the measurements we ma ...

First of them is associated with the wellknown κ - deformed Minkowski space [9], [10]2, while the second one with twisted canonical, Lie-algebraic and quadratic quantum Minkowsk ...

... If nonlinear equations are involved, then the mathematical toolbox of linear methods is, in parts, no longer applicable. However, a lot of physical systems are characterized by nonlinear equations. Prominent example are the Navier–Stokes equations for the dynamic of fluids, Einstein’s field equation ...

... Such an area law has been proven to be valid for a number of cases: • For any gapped one-dimensional system with a unique ground state [12]. The proof again relies on Lieb-Robinson bounds mentioned before, albeit used in a much more sophisticated way than in order to show the clustering of correlati ...

We derive low energy theories for both systems, using the bosonization technique and obtain analytic expressions for the correlation functions that allow us to compute basically all observables of interest. ABSTRACT RANDOM ROUTING AND CONCENTRATION IN QUANTUM SWITCHING NETWORKS

... The basic premise of this idea is to use arrangements of reconfigurable switches with input quantum bits on their own quantum wires and then route them to the required destination. These switches are represented using quantum circuits composed of quantum gates. In addition to reducing wire count, re ...

... Indeed, as we will see, the manner in which AdS/CFT related all these subjects to gravity could scarcely have been more spectacular: it turns out that it’s not the weak curvature of our spacetime which comes into play when studying everyday systems, but the most gravitational object there is: the bl ...

Orchestrated objective reduction

Orchestrated objective reduction (Orch-OR) is a hypothesis that consciousness in the brain originates from processes inside neurons, rather than from connections between neurons as in the conventional view. The mechanism is held to be a quantum physics process called objective reduction which is orchestrated by molecular structures called microtubules. The hypothesis, which was put forward in the early 1990s by theoretical physicist Roger Penrose and anaesthesiologist and psychologist Stuart Hameroff, has so far been rejected by the majority of cognitive scientists.
