Editor-in-Chief
Message from the Editor-in-Chief
As the only MDPI open access journal dedicated to tropical medicine and infectious disease, and building on 16
years
of publication of its predecessor, Annals of the AusDeputy Editor-in-Chief
tralasian College of Tropical Medicine (ACTM), the papers
Prof. Peter A. Leggat
published in Tropical Medicine and Infectious Disease
span from those sciences related to tropical medicine
and infectious disease, to clinical tropical medicine, as
well as epidemiological and social science studies and
the fields related to disease control and global public
health. Pushing the boundaries of the discipline, we invite papers on multidisciplinary topics bridging tropical
medicine and infectious diseases, as well as timely reviews and topical commentary on cutting-edge aspects
of all these areas. Papers in allied fields, such as travel
medicine and expedition and wilderness medicine, are
also welcome.
Assoc. Prof. John Frean
