Solve For A Given Variable (Chapter 2)
Distributive Property
To do the distributive property you first have to change the larger number that you are multiplying into
expanded form, and then you multiply each thousands, hundreds, tens, and ones by the smaller
number. When you are done multiplying, add the products.

Solving For a Given Variable
To solve for a given variable you have to do the opposite of what the problem tells you to do, like if it
were addition it would be subtraction, or if it was division you would do multiplication.
