HOLOCAUST
The term Holocaust (from the greek holos "complete" and kaustos "stake") was introduced at the
end of the twentieth century to refer to the genocide carried out by Nazi Germany of all those
people and ethnic groups deemed "undesirable" (homosexuals, Jews, political opponents, Gypsies,
Jehovah's Witnesses, Pentecostals, etc..), in particular, it is estimated that six million Jews were
exterminated.

For me, this song has a very important meaning : many people were killed for no reason; they were
classified as things.
Today these people are just a memory in the broken hearts and those of their families worldwide.
MY IDEA
For me the extermination of millions of Jews was wrong. Killing defenceless people and especially
innocent, just because Hitler considered them an inferior race. Many nations were aware of
everything that was happening but have not done anything to avoid it.
ACROSTIC HOLOCAUST
Hitler was a terrible man.
Only the Jewish suffered in the Holocaust.
Life was terrible in the Ghettos.
Old people, sick people and babies were murdered in the Ghettos.
Can you believe that people can be so bad to other people?
A lot of Germans helped the Jewish people.
U.S.A helped the Jewish people, and beat the Germans.
Sometimes the Jewish didn’t eat for days.
The weather was very cold, and the Jewish walked barefoot.
