NSW Family Fun Day: Free entry
to the Cape Town Science Centre,
DST/SAASTA initiative for the
entire day – includes all exhibits,
hands-on workshops, shows,
tours and demonstrations.
Human Gyroscope rides charged
at R5 per 3 minutes. Robotics and
coding workshops need to be
pre-booked on arrival, all other
activities filled on a first-comefirst served basis
Demonstration of light science
Camera Obscura Tour.
A role play representing the great
Islamic scientist, father of optics will demonstrate the use of
experiments to verify theory of
light. This will be followed by the
tour of the camera obscura to see
a 360 degree view of Cape Town
inside the dark room.
