diabetes
2. List 3 unique, pediatric-specific challenges related to continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) used in
childhood diabetes
3. Be able to contrast the styles of motivational interviewing (MI) with more frequently used
approaches
4. Identify 3 skills used in motivational interviewing
5. Identify sources and levels of diabetes-related psychological burden among people with diabetes
and family members
6. Identify types of support desired and received by people with diabetes
7. Identify provider barriers to effective diabetes care
8. Describe the economic impact of non-adherence in the United States
9. Assess adherence issues in your patients
10. Develop strategies to collaborate with pharmacists
11. Identify and be able to review diagnostic criteria
12. Analyze nutritional therapy interventions and outcomes
