PROJECT-2016 Choose a topic from the history of Ancient Egypt or Ancient Mesopotamia. Choose something mentioned in your book (chapter 2) or in your notes. If you want a topic that is not mentioned in your book or notes, talk to me about it first. Research your topic & develop a project. Remember, this is about Ancient Egypt or Ancient Mesopotamia. This does not include modern Egypt or even Cleopatra, who lived in the 1st century BC. The project must be visual and creative in nature. For example, you may make a model of something such as a tomb, ziggurat, temple, etc. You may make a poster or video. If you make a poster, you must actually draw the pictures yourself. If you choose to make a power point, you must also draw or create your pictures yourself. You must not use pictures downloaded from the internet or taken directly from any other source, although you can use these pictures as models for your own drawings. If you make a video, you must actually make something that you use in the video, such as costumes, masks or props. Write a report describing your project, minimum length, one page. The report must contain a description of how you made your project and what aspect of your topic interested you or surprised you the most. The report must be written by you, not lifted directly from any source, although you may, of course, use information derived from sources. You must cite your sources, except for class notes. You may write or type your report. If you type, use 12 point type. You may not share a project with another person. You may, however, do a project that somehow coordinates with the project done by someone else, but each person must have a distinct project. Each person must write their own report.
