On set during filming,- co-ordinating all actors and extras (managing up to 300 people during the entire shoot.) During the entire production I also managed and co-ordinated most locations including permissions, legal and contractual requirements, crew, equipment, vehicles, insurance, catering, location fees etc to ensure smooth running of shoot. June 2011 Producing two one hour long corporate films for the company (12,000 employees globally) to be shown in-house to new and existing employees, working with a small crew,- director d.o.p, camera man and sound recordist and shooting on 7D on location at the design museum. Feb – Aug 2011 Creating short films for training and educational purposes for company’s online content, working to briefs from local authorities from concept to completion including pitching ideas to post production, the films had to tell stories and highlight issues relevant to society today- especially for young people (e.g, bullying, peer pressure, ASBO’s and eating disorders.) KAYBEE PICTURES: Casting Associate. May - Nov 2010 Working on feature entitled ‘London Life’. Duties were budgeting, working out costs and assigning money to different parts, liaising with director and 1st AD to do character breakdowns and schedules, then casting calls, auditioning and shortlisting, also briefing and explaining character and story profiles, dealing with any questions or problems, confirming cast, finalizing dates, scenes, call times and locations for each actor, then liaising with other departments for props, costumes and hair & make-up, looks and styles, then organising and arranging each actor’s script sides. On set during filming duties were to co-ordinate and brief all actors and extras. On this production I also worked in, art and other departments and as 3rd AD SG FILMS: Production Manager. Oct – Nov 2010 Working on music videos for MTV, in pre production,- organising, booking and briefing crew, especially tech,- (D.O.P, gaffer, grip and sound recordist etc) assisting with scheduling and on set,- co-ordinating cast and crew. May 2010 Working on burlesque music videos, liaising with different departments to organise set, catering, dancers, crew, location and any problems that arise to ensure the smooth running of the shoot. HOPP LTD/ LIVE 960: Senior Producer/ Director. 2009 – 2010 Producing live television shows for sky, also doing the set design and building as well as lighting and operating and running the studio,- filming, directing, sound & vision mixing, setting up/ maintaining equipment (cameras, lights etc), trouble shooting, casting, co-orinating, managing & organising staff (shifts, rotas, etc) and scheduling and budgeting. Jun – Dec 2009 Producing a TV show for a channel on sky, duties were to run and operate the studio, set up cameras and microphones, filming with both remote controlled cameras and held for P.O.V shooting, audio visual mixing and solving any potential technical problems. August - Nov 2001 Working on a freelance basis for the planning department it was my responsibility to collate information of what areas needed to be visited and what sites needed to be documented, structure the work load and on certain days go to the specific areas and photograph such things as buildings, sites, shops and signs. In the office I had to process and develop films, scan the pictures into the computer, create and design presentation-mounting sheets for folders and mount photographs onto sheets to display them neatly on record for use by planning officers. Software used for work was Photoshop, Access, Word, PowerPoint, scan suite internet, E-Mail and in house databases. PERSPECTIVE RED CELL MARKETING: Presentation Operator. May - July 2001. Duties involved designing and producing high quality computer graphic presentations for various clients, which contained graphics, text and graphs. I had to gather information and criteria on and about the client and find out what they wanted e.g. certain colours schemes and themes and from this design and produce a professional presentation sheet(s) relaying all of this. I also had to work on existing presentations, doing editing, amending, any corrections and proof reading as the designs had to be perfect because they were for very prestigious clients such as Barclaycard, Gillette, various travel agencies and nightclubs. To do my designs and presentations, the software programs I used were PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, Outlook E-Mail, and Photoshop. JC DECAUX: Production Assistant/ Graphic Design, DTP. September 2000 – May 2001. Duties were to assist with the production of artwork for various high profile clients – dealing with the specifications, (sizes, materials etc.) of billboard advertisements at various sites, usually at airports. I had to professionally produce documents, drawings and presentations, but mainly specification sheets and reports explaining every detail of the production of the advertisement such as how it is made and the thickness of it. I also had to ensure that the sheets, reports and details of each site were correctly stored on the database. I also had to produce technical drawings both by hand and computer generated, do some scanning and importing of graphics, I was responsible for setting up the layouts of document and presentation pages making templates for everyone else to use on their projects, and doing some graphics manipulation. Programs used for work were Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Internet, Outlook, Explorer Quark and Photoshop. TFN: Presentation Operator and Administrator. February - April 2000. Responsible for administration of any data, paperwork and invoices, dealing with databases, queries both internal and external and producing high quality presentations to display information relevant to work that I was doing for example results, statistics and what needed to be done. (Using PowerPoint.) SOLUTION 6: Software/ I.T Operations. April – October 1999. Duties were, compiling various software programs, copying disks, creating, cutting, programming and configuring software licenses to access only certain programs for tax and accountants firms, also dealing with any client queries regarding our software and giving some I.T support to users and internally. The programs I used at work were Word, Excel, Explorer, software licensing, internet, Lotus notes E-Mail and Heat (in-house database.) Temporary six-month contract. EALING STUDIOS: Runner/ Stagehand. April – September 2000. Working on a corporate advert for a german bank, duties included setting up and maintenance of set, props and equipment, ensuring everyone had necessary paper work and schedules, driving and welcoming and greeting clients and guests. DEVON AND DORSET HOLIDAYS: Team Leader, Public Relations. May - Oct 1995, (summer months only) Duties included, liaising with clients, doing visits, taking clients on tours, answering queries, working in the office, organising work load and schedules for the team, creating advertising and promotion for the company, identifying the local market/ audience and targeting local businesses to help with the promoting and advertising to attract and win new business.
