There is no other known organ that are as complex as the human brain.
2 You're brain holds approximately one hundred billion neurons which are the cells of
3 your nervous system. How does your brain function? First, you recieve a sensory
4 signal. Then you're nerves turn it into an electrical impulse that is sent to these
5 neurons. Than that impulse it triggers the release of chemicals that stimulate even
6 more electrical impulses. The resulting connections, that form betwee n neurons,
7 look like tiny threads. Are called dendrites. Learning in school on the job and in
8 life produces dendrites. The brain builds these complex looking connections most
9 easily during childhood but a person who is 95 years old is building dendrites, to.
