Book Project Poster For this project you will be creating a poster that includes information about the FICTIONAL Book you have/will read for this quarter. Listed below are requirements for the poster You may design the poster however you would like. Remember to include the following required elements, but be CREATIVE! Materials: 1. ½ of a poster board//large construction paper/scrapbook paper 2. Markers/Crayons/Color pencils 3. Any other materials for creativity! Required Elements: 1. Title of your book 2. Author of your book 3. Your name, date, and class period on the back 4. Picture (s) and paragraph (6 or more sentences) describing te setting of your book 5. Picture (s) and paragraph (6 or more sentences) describing the main characters of our book 6. Plot timeline: Use several pictures (each with two sentences near the picture) describing the main parts of the plot (what happens in the story). This should include exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution. 7. Personal Review: Write a paragraph (6 or more sentences) explaining what you liked, did not like, favorite part, things you might have changed in the story, and whether or not you would recommend the book to friends. All written parts should be typed or neatly written. Pictures may be hand drawn, cut from magazines, or printed from the Internet. The project will be graded based on the rubric that is located on the back. Please see me if you have any questions. The project shows no thought or creativity. ConventionsGrammar, Capitalization, Punctuation, & Spelling Punctuation is correct, spelling is accurate, and there are no major errors in grammar. There are some errors in conventions, but not enough to cause difficulty in reading and understanding the text. Several punctuation, spelling, and grammatical errors stand out in this project. Project shows little understanding of correct conventions; spelling and grammatical errors are common and stand out. Organization Your ideas are presented in a neat and organized manner so that the ideas are easy to follow. Your ideas are presented in a fairly neat and organized manner. Thoughts and direction are fairly easy to recognize. Your ideas need more focus in order to be considered neat and organized. Some details seem out of place OR too much extraneous information is included. Your ideas seem tossed together, and the project theme is hard to follow.
