“Leadership in the
Imaging Profession”
Inside this issue:
On November 5th, the Kaskaskia College Radiology Program hosted a Continuing
Education Seminar titled Leadership in the Imaging Profession. Forty radiographers
participated in this educational opportunity and received 8 hours of CEU’s. The course
was offered free to the programs Clinical Instructors and $25 for all other
radiographers. Breakfast, lunch, and prizes were provided and fun was had by all! It
was a great opportunity for everyone to discuss situations and improvements that could
be made in their own professional development.

Besides the November 5th continuing

week of November 6-12 to celebrate
Radiologic Technology Week. The
students sold raffle tickets and the
winners received cash. The winners
were Stella Mooring $200, Renee

and John Kortte $50, The money
raised from this event (and other

Normal, IL on April 18-20, 2012. The
students also provided ice scrapers,
magnets and bags filled with candy to
each clinical site. These little gifts
