- Need to upgrade the facilities
- Need to invest and improve lifting equipment at
railhead

- An infrastructure to promote rail transport
- Reduce the consumption of gasoline in
transport sector
- Reduce the cost of transportation
- Reduce the cost of road traffic and accident
- Reduce GHG emission

- Charge low or basic rental fee
- Select the winner by considering at the lowest
rate of service given at a dry port
- Dry port users will benefit
- Otherwise, indirect benefit via shipping line
- Lower cost of transport
- Enhance the competitive advantage to Thai
export cargo

Conclusions:
1. Government will get a return from:
- a reduction of imported gasoline especially in
transport sector
- a reduction of cost of road traffic and accident
- greener transport mode
- stimulate GDP
- more taxable income on the increasing revenue
2. Exporters + Importers will benefit from:
- a reduction of transport cost by rail
- a reduction of service fees at a dry port
- enhancement the competitive advantage
