Objectives
After actively participating in this session, those in attendance
should be able to:
•  Educate a patient on appropriate technique for use of a
peak flow meter
•  Discuss differences in available inhaler devices to allow
confident selection of a device for their patient
•  Educate their patients on appropriate use of common
inhalers to improve efficacy of inhaled medications
•  Determine if a spacer should be utilized and provide
education on how to correctly use a spacer
