Choreographer Biographies:
Emily Crawford was born and raised in colorful Colorado where upon
entering the dance division at the University of Colorado in Boulder she developed a strong
passion for modern dance. While working towards her BFA she was exposed to West
African and Latin dance cultures with which she immediately connected. This connection
lead her to study abroad in Ghana, West Africa, for two summers while also pursuing Latin
dance locally in the Denver area. She looks forward to continuing her career in dance and
exploring new possibilities. Crawford sends a special thanks to her friends, family and the
