CAST NAMED FOR MUSICAL Temple College's Musical Theatre Department has announced the cast for the spring production of “A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum” to be presented April 20-22. Composed by Stephen Sondheim in 1962, Forum is a hilarious comedy based in ancient Rome. After recent auditions, the show has been cast with the following students: Michael Morris as Prologus and Pseudolus, Julian Waneck as Hysterium, Ashlie Shuttlesworth as Domina, Irvin Freeman as Senex, Ashlee Boyd as Philia, Ryan Malsbary as Hero, Brandon Gott as Lycus, John Marion as Erronius, Jonathan Smith as Miles Gloriosus, and Kevin Stanley as a Protean. The various courtesans in the show will be played by Michelle Atkins, Kendra Beck, Carla Hartley, Amber Long, Oksana Khariv, Tricia Studer, and Martha Waneck. For the first time, the TC Drama, Orchestra, and Vocal departments will collaborate on the spring production. The show will be directed by Al Alford with musical direction and choreography by Sherry Millican. Dr. Stephen Crawford will be directing the TC Orchestra for the show and Sandra Miller is light and set designer. Students in the stage craft class will be in charge of set construction, costumes, lights, and sound. Tickets for the show will be available closer to the opening and can be obtained by calling the TC Fine Arts Office.
