Paige Olson • Director’s Note • Traditionally, a director’s note is a place for the director to give a small insight into their vision for the show. What do they think is the quintessential “it-ness” of the play? What do they want you to take away from it or focus on? But this show and this process have been anything but traditional. Instead, I’ll use this space to tell you that this show is very much about the process. What we’ve created here, as an ensemble, is not mine to claim. I am merely one very proud member of this incredibly brilliant, talented, and hard-working ensemble. All of the decisions we made (and I do mean all of them) were made as a team. It wasn’t always easy, but I think what you’ll find is that in the end, it was completely worth it. We hope that you enjoy what is truly our show.
