Noteworthy
Big Chub Lake is 75 acres in size and 74 feet deep
at its deepest point. In addition to rainbow trout
anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish
including largemouth bass and northern pike.

Species Description
Rainbow trout are present in Big Chub Lake. Most
fish are in the 10-17 inch size range, but larger fish
are occasionally caught.
Big Chub Lake is a designated Type B trout lake.

Regulations in the current Michigan Fishing Guide.
Big Chub Lake is stocked annually with 5,000
yearling rainbow trout.
Directions to Site
Access site is at the end of Chub Lake Drive off of
Old State Road (CR F-38). The undeveloped ramp
is at the end of Chub Lake Drive. Parking is limited
to pulling off on the shoulder of the road.
