Narrow aperture, broad capability…
Evolving from current architectural trends, Corelite’s R6 narrow aperture luminaire
blends seamlessly into today’s modern environments. Utilizing Corelite’s engineered
linear optical system, the R6 delivers lumens to the task surface yet maintains
a soft luminous glow for high visual comfort. The narrow lines and subtle lens
radius make the R6 the perfect companion to the full line of Class R recessed
fixtures. The unique housing design allows for simple and quick installation into
nearly all grid ceiling types including TechZone™. To further realize the R6 series’
design potential, it is available with a complete palette of lamp options – including
T5,T8,LED– and maintains the series’ dedication to shallow plenum applications
with a minimal 3-3/4”deep housing. The R6 is perfectly suited for open offices,
corridors, perimeters, or any space with stringent design or energy requirements.
CONSTRUCTION Low profile housing constructed of die-formed 20 gauge cold
rolled steel with integral 20 gauge gear tray. REFLECTORS One piece reflector
for easy access to ballast compartment. SHIELDING Extruded acrylic center optic
with linear prisms. ELECTRICAL FLUORESCENT T5/T5HO fixtures use UL listed
Class P, program rapid start universal voltage electronic ballasts, power factor of
97% with less than 10% THD. T8 fixtures use Class P, 265 mA T8 instant start
universal voltage electronic ballasts, power factor of 95% with less than 10%
THD. Fixtures and electrical components certified to UL and CUL standards.
ELECTRICAL LED Fixture equipped with proprietary Cooper LED modules rated
at 3500K. Removable module features aluminum extrusion providing exceptional
thermal management. Modules are driven using universal voltage switch mode LED
drivers. Fixture and modules certified to UL and CUL standards. FINISH Fixture
housings are high reflectance white using electrostatically applied polyester powder
coat paint. MOUNTING Standard flange design works with most lay-in ceiling types
including TechZone™. Integral pryout tabs secure luminaire to ceiling grid from
above. Fixture offers tie-in locations for tie-wire on all corners, consult local code for
appropriate tie-wire recommendations. MOUNTING NOTE T8 fixtures mounting in
continuous rows have a limitation of 4 fixtures in one direction or eight fixtures total.
