RESISTENSI N.GONORRHOEAE Sjaiful Fahmi Daili Departemen Ilmu Kesehatan Kulit & Kelamin FKUI/Rumah Sakit Cipto Mangunkusumo Jakarta Abstrak Perkembangan dalam pengobatan infeksi gonore sejalan dengan perkembangan antimikrobial. Mekanisme terjadinya resistensi N. gonorrhoeae terhadap antibiotika dapat secara khromosomal dan ekstrakhromosomal. Keberhasilan pengobatan infeksi gonore sangat tergantung dari persentase angka kesembuhan obat yang digunakan. Angka kesembuhan setiap antibiotika terhadap infeksi gonore tidak sama di setiap kota/Negara, oleh karena itu monitor terhadap resistensi berbagai macam antibiotika yang selalu digunakan perlu dilakukan secara teratur . Mechanism of resistency of N. gonorrhoeae on antibiotics can happen in a chromosomal and nonchromosomal ways. The success of Gonorrhoea infection treatment really depends on the cure percentage of the drug used. The cure percentage of each antibiotic toward gonorrhea differs among cities/countries, which leads to the need of a frequent and well managed monitoring if drug resistency.
