Completion of the pre- pharmacy course requirements does not guarantee admission to the SIUE School of Pharmacy. In addition,
courses that will meet the SIUE pre-pharmacy requirements may not meet the requirements for completion of other majors at SIUE.
Students who plan to pursue an associate’s degree at a community college or a bachelor’s degree at SIUE should consult an academic
advisor with regard to applicability of courses toward degree requirements. Students who are not admitted to the School of Pharmacy,
or who change career paths, may take longer than 4 years to complete the bachelor’s degree.
Students who have earned degrees (Associates, Bachelors, Masters, Doctoral Degrees) are still required to complete the pre pharmacy
curriculum equivalencies. All students should meet with an academic advisor in the SIUE School of Pharmacy to discuss applicability
of coursework.
*Students who plan to enter the SIUE School of Pharmacy in 2016 or 2017 may take a statistics class rather than a second semester of
physics. Students who plan to enter the SIUE School of Pharmacy in 2018 or later must take statistics.
**Students who plan to enter the SIUE School of Pharmacy in 2018 or later must take microbiology.
