Propaganda--defined
• information, ideas, or rumors deliberately spread widely by
an organization or person to help or harm a person, group,
movement.
• One of the key features of propaganda is that it most often
(almost always, in fact) taps into the power that images have
to reach us on an unconscious ( unaware) level.
• Propaganda’s cousin is advertising.
