As we continue to fit costumes on the performers this week, we are discussing
footwear options specific to particular characters and objects (Be Our
Guest). Most of these pieces will be items EVHS theatre pursues unless the
student states they already have these items. Such items might mean
character shoes, men’s black dress shoes, etc.
Basic Items to be added to the original list…
Townspeople:
Guys need long (to the knee) socks. These should be in Neutral
tones. Most townspeople will be fit this week (Thursday). At that
time they will know the color of their pants/knickers. The socks may
be in contrast or match these pieces. For example, if the boys are
wearing brown knickers, brown or beige socks would work just fine. It
is preferred that they do not wear white long socks with these
costumes.
Girls need opaque tights. The recommended colors are ivory, grey,
brown. Please, no patterned tights. *Please see note above re:
schedule.
Be Our Guest Characters.
Guys: In most cases you will need black socks. (Regular length is
fine)
Girls: most (including those with short dresses, etc.) will need
Capezio #1815 Light Suntan
Principals.
Girls: Natural colored hosiery (Exception Silly Girls)
Guys:
Maurice and Lefou: Brown or Ivory Long socks (see townspeople)
Cogsworth and Lumiere: Socks will be provided
Gaston, Beast and Double: nothing specific
Remember...
 Performers are to bring their boots, character shoes, etc. for
rehearsal starting on Wed. 11/16
 LABEL all items

Bring proper undergarments, socks, etc. to Dress Rehearsal on
Tues.11/29
