Venus’s position


Venus is the second planet from the sun
It’s one of the inner planets
Venus’s surface






Venus has a rocky surface.
It’s surface is made of sulphuric acid clouds.
It’s the hottest in the solar system.
Also a 96% carbon dioxide atmosphere.
The effect and cause of high temperatures is
the combine of dramatic greenhouse.
The temperature of it’s surface is 500 degrees
Celsius.

It’s mass is 5 times 10 kg and earth is 6 times
10 kg about the same size as earth

In 1989 there was a space craft called
Magellan orbiting Venus in order to map it’s
surface.
Venus is highly volcanic, lava forms solid
waterfalls over much of it’s surface.
The time it takes Venus to orbit the sun is 7.5
months to orbit the sun with no moons at all
with no moons to follow it .
