Objectives:

2) Use reference angles to find the values of
sine, cosine, and tangent for additional
angles
Yesterday, we defined sine, cosine, and tangent for angles
between 0 and 360 degrees. Today we will extend the definition
to include all angles.

A reference angle is the smallest angle the terminal side makes with the x-axis. A
trigonometric ratio of any angle is either the same as that of its reference angle or -1 times that
of its reference angle.
