Statement of Expectations
Leadership and networking skills are two of the most highly sought after skills by employers.
Penn State University provides many opportunities for students to develop and enhance these
skills.
By committing to attend the annual Student Leadership Conference hosted by the Division of
Student Affairs, you are agreeing to attend ALL sessions (educational, general, keynote, Pride
Group, etc., as well as evening programming and dinners). Please read and sign the Expectations
Statement below.
I understand that I am expected to attend all sessions (as outlined above) while in
attendance at Penn State’s annual Student Leadership Conference.
I understand that if I drive my personal vehicle, that I am encouraged to not drive my
vehicle once I arrive on campus. Transportation to off campus events during the
conference will be provided.
I understand that the annual Student Leadership Conference is an alcohol and drug free
event.
I understand that I am expected to demonstrate professional and appropriate behavior
during the Student Leadership Conference both on and off campus.
I agree to abide by The Pennsylvania State University Student Code of Conduct.
I understand that if I violate one or more of these expectations, I will be asked to leave
the Conference at my own expense.
