Flow Cytometry in Molecular Medicine
Flow cytometry has become a powerful
tool in investigating a wide range of
parameters involved in molecular biology,
including cell cycle, apoptosis and signal transduction. The meeting will
bring together well-recognized international and Turkish lecturers in order
to share their expertise on various applications of flow cytometry.
The Molecular Medicine Days 2006 will be organized by the collaboration of
University of Miami School of Medicine and Turkish Society of Molecular
Medicine. It will provide an opportunity for demonstration of most recent
techniques and meeting the experts. Each session will include wet labs in
which the participants can experience and discuss the following application
topics:
- Cytogenetics and Genomics
- Apoptosis and Heat Shock Protein Triggered Apoptosis
- Stem Cell Analysis
- Drug Transport and Resistance
- Signal Transduction
- Modulatory Effect of Neutrophil Phagocytosis, Free Radical
Generation and Apoptosis
- Clinical Application of Microcapillary Cytometry: A New Tool for
Life Sciences Research
