Root system slender,
tough
Shoestring weed is a perennial with a long, tough root system, from which new
plants arise. It is found on range areas and cropland in the Midwest and east of
the Cascades in Oregon.
Control: Limited research indicates that 20 pounds of TEA per acre gives 75
control.
