Overview of PowerStream

PowerCollect is the rig component that acquires data from all contractors at the rig, regardless of the
format in which they provide the data (WITS, WITSML…) and saves the collected data in WITSML stores.
PowerCollect is capable of connecting to serial and TCP feeds, in server or client mode.

PowerStore is the Petrolink WITSML store, which supports the full specifications of WITSML Version 1.2
and Version 1.3.1. It strictly follows the WITSML specification, including the publish/subscribe method
dropped by other contractors, special handling, and full support for all objects.

PowerSwitch is the inter-store data synchronization tool that allows data transport between WITSML
stores. It supports all vendor extensions and is capable of handling the non-standard implementations.

PowerView is the visualization server that provides the real-time displays of the data, including log views,
azimuthal display, and digital gauges with alarms. It is based on logPlotML

PowerForm is an XML-based Daily Reporting system that creates Reports from the WITSML Store

Database
– The Petrolink Databases have been structured on the WITSML
Objects Structure, thereby making it easy to store and recover the
data
– Petrolink are currently using SQL as the underlying database
storage mechanism, but as we have adopted the WITSML structure
it is very simple for us to port the Solution to other relational
databases such as Oracle
