32nd World Continuous Auditing and Reporting Symposium

The 32nd World Continuous Auditing & Reporting Symposium (32WCARS) will be held at SWUFE on September 19-20,
2014. The special emphasis this year is on the development and application of audit analytics and audit apps within the
burgeoning environment of big-data.
This conference is the leading forum for the discussion of research and practice into the application of technology to
auditing and reporting. The conference alternates between US and non-US locations, with previous conferences held in
Monaco (2004), Malta (2005), San Paulo, Brazil (2006-2014), Ferrara, Italy (2007), Crete (2008), Thessaloniki, Greece
(2009), and Malatya, Turkey (2012), Iceland, (2014) . Papers and presentations from prior conferences can be found at
http://raw.rutgers.edu/.
The conference in Chegdu also will have a day of tutorials on continuous audit, anadit analytics, and XBRL for
participants initiating in the field.
Papers, presentations, and proposals for panels are sought for 32 WCARS with the participation of vendors and
implementers of new accounting related technology particularly encouraged. The conference is open to any innovative
idea relating to the IT-enabled auditing and reporting, including, but not limited to:

The information presented is at a detailed technical level and is meant to provide participants with a through coverage of
the material. The intended audience of the conference is internal and external auditors, CPAs who are working with
continuous auditing and other new AIS technologies and academics undertaking research in these areas.
