Working experiences
Since2/2003 in Aramiska
Aramiska provides satellite internet services to SMEs through IP over DVB-RCS technology.
Since 1/2004 Field and Network Operations Director: Reporting to the Operations and Engineering VP, with a staff
of 18 people. The Network Operations department has been merged with the Field Operations one. The NOC is
responsible for the Operation and the Maintenance (directly or through subcontractors) of the network and of all the
IP services, the Provisioning, the Level 3 and 4 Troubleshooting and Support.
From 7/2003 to 12/2003 Field Operations Director: Reporting to the Operations and Engineering VP, with a staff of
5 people. The team is in charge of: managing 12 subcontractor installation companies throughout Europe (selection,
business relationship, coordination, support and training); manage to order to install process; assure installation
quality; organize customer maintenance; manage the RMA processes with the manufacturers.
From 2/2003 to 6/2003 Field Operations Manager: Supporting and coordinating subcontractors installing the CPEs.
From 12/1999 until 6/2002 in GTS Network Services, Ebone, KPNQwest
Ebone/KPNQwest is a pan-European data service provider offering IP and Optical data services.
Since 1/2001 IP Network Services Engineering Senior Manager: Reporting to the Network Engineering VP, with a
staff of 9 people. The team is in charge of the IP services: Internet access for corporates, Dial Platform for dial
backup and roaming users, IP-VPN, Firewall, DCN, Corporate Network, Internet Exchanges connectivity and
peering connections. The role implied: Team management; Budget management; Responsibility and accountability
for all the engineering deliverables (network planning and engineering, 3rd level of support, standardization,
management of the manufacturers, answer to complex bids and sign off of custom network designs for customers).
From 9/2000 until 12/2000 DCN Manager: Reporting to the IP Engineering Director, with a team of 3 direct reports.

8/1998 until 9/1999 – Consulting in 9Telecom (now absorbed by LDCOM): Project of data network design,
installation and activation for 9Telecom (French data and telephony operator). Project Manager of the TDM and
Frame Relay network, responsible of managing the equipment providers, coordinating the Network Design Team.
Support the Marketing and Sales to define the product portfolio. As a representative of Sirti, coordinator of the
partner companies answering to a 9Telecom tender for network Database and Workflow management solution.
7/1997 until 6/1998 – RDO Project: Project committed by Telecom Argentina to provide a complete study for a new
DCN: Network topology; IP and OSI addressing and routing plans; Security policies; Network management
platform; Detailed site layout. Technical advisor to the client during 6 months. Project Manager and leader of the
design team.
5/1995-6/1997 Dacon Project: Project committed by Telecom Italia for building up a DCN (about 1500 routers).
Technical advisor during the test phase to define the network architecture. Coordinator of the field teams and
technical support during the installation. In the 2nd phase working on migrations, future network architecture,
network security and firewall policies.
From 9/94 until 5/95 in INTESA S.p.A.
Intesa provides integrated solutions over its data network for corporate customers and is reseller for the IBM GN.
Pre and post sales network engineer with both pre and post sales functions, working mainly on WAN data networks
using SNA protocols, with the task of studying network and application solutions for the customers.
From August 1994 to September 1996 wrote articles for the magazine “Micro & Personal Computer”
Micro & Personal Computer was a magazine about PCs, software applications and networking.
