PATIENT GATEWAY MOBILE - OVERVIEW
Patient Gateway Mobile is a secure application that can be accessed via iPhone and Android Smartphones. Patient
Gateway Mobile includes the following features:
 View-only access to Medications, Allergies, Results, Conditions & Procedures, and Provider Letters
 Ability to view Appointments
 Secure way to check your messages, reply to messages, and create new messages

FAQ’s – Patient Gateway Mobile:
What functionality is different on the Mobile vs. the Desktop version for Patient Gateway? Are all of the same
features in both applications?
Patient Gateway Mobile offers a high quality mobile experience for some core features of Patient Gateway. Patient
Gateway Mobile does not include all features of Patient Gateway Desktop. If you don't see the features of Patient
Gateway that you need within Patient Gateway Mobile, log in to Patient Gateway Desktop.
Which Smartphones are supported for Patient Gateway Mobile?

iPhones (3GS or later) with mobile Safari with iOS 5.x and up

Androids with Android Browser 3.x and later versions
If you do not use a Smartphone with these requirements, you will not be able to reach the Patient Gateway Mobile
login page. You will need to access the full site using Patient Gateway Desktop.
How can users access the Patient Gateway Mobile login page?
Users with supported iPhone or Android Smartphones will automatically be presented with the Patient Gateway
Mobile login page when they go to www.patientgateway.org.

From Patient Gateway Mobile, can users access the full Patient Gateway Desktop site?
Yes. From the Patient Gateway Mobile Login page, users can click Go to Full Site to go to Patient Gateway Desktop.
After logging in to Patient Gateway Mobile, users can click the Gear
icon and select Go to Full Site.
Can new users complete their enrollment on Patient Gateway Mobile?
No. New users who have just enrolled at their practice must complete their enrollment process on the full site. If a
brand new user tries to log in to Patient Gateway Mobile, they will receive a message that includes a link so they
can first log in to the full site to confirm their enrollment. They can access the full site from their Smartphone to
complete the enrollment process.
If a user account has expired or has been removed, can they log in to Patient Gateway Mobile?
No. Only active users can log in to Patient Gateway Mobile.
Can users add Patient Gateway to their Home Screen on their Smartphone?
For easy access, users can add the Patient Gateway Mobile login page to their Home screen (for iPhone or Android
devices).
Android device instructions will vary from device to device.
On the iPhone:
1. Go to www.patientgateway.org.
2. Click Add to home screen.
3. Click Add.
The Patient Gateway icon will be added to the Home screen.
How can users contact support for Patient Gateway Mobile?
Users can contact support the same way they contact support today for Patient Gateway Desktop. From within
Patient Gateway Mobile, they can complete a form that will send an email to [email protected]
Patient Gateway Support Process
[email protected] is the first line of support for Patient Gateway Mobile users. Practices may direct
questions to their site analyst. Questions that cannot be answered by PG support or the Site Analyst should be
directed to LMR Production Support. Please make sure the subject line of the email message or issue includes “PG
Mobile.”
