The Tempest 4 (T4) GP1300R Ignition from Advent Ignitions is packed with features and capability
beyond what you ever thought possible. The T4 Ignition truly is the leading edge in ignition
technology.
If your ignition doesn’t do its job, nothing else under the seat matters. The T4 Yamaha GP1300R Ignition
is the only complete and reliable solution to engine control. The T4 GP1300R Ignition brings together a
high-output energy ignition, multiple advance curves, rev limiter, fuel control and system diagnostics. All
features are user programmable via a laptop and USB port. With the Advent T4 Ignition on your team,
you will pull ahead of the competition.
Optional Remote Control:
All T4 ignitions are fitted with a connector to attach a console mounted remote control unit. With the T4
Remote Control Unit (RCU) attached, the user can view (full graphical backlit display) and modify many
of the ignition functions, including rev limiter, water/relay on-off settings, power valve settings, curve
selection and curve offset, etc. The RCU is a must during ignition timing development and tuning.
In addition to viewing and editing ignition functions, the Remote Control Unit displays the engine RPM
and supports three EGT channels to monitor engine exhaust temperature. The RPM and EGT values are
displayed on screen at the same time.
