Norway, H.E. Mr. Juan Manuel Ortiz de Rozas.
Introduction of the artists by the President of the “Norsk
Argentinsk Forening - Sociedad Noruego Argentina”
Mrs. Cristina Marré.
“RADIO MUSICAL” (ensemble)
Hector Meriles and Edgar Albitres form an ensemble who compose and
perform traditional tunes from the Andean region of South America with the
innovative approach of the "pop" and the "folk", among other styles.
They are widely known in Norway for their contribution with performances
at schools in the context of the Rikskonsertene.

Edgar Albitres,
He studied classical guitar at the
Conservatory of Music in Bolivia. From
a very young age, worked with Bolivian
folk music and later with Latin
American music. Hector has extensive
experience in composition & music
events. In Norway, he studied at the
Conservatory of Music in Oslo and folk
music at Telemark University College.
Hector has been living in Norway since
1991. He has toured for years for
Concerts with various productions with
INTI and other musicians.
He has participated in numerous CD
productions both in Bolivia and Norway.
Today he teaches at the Art School in Oslo
and Bærum.
Edgar is a musician from Peru. He is
mainly a singer, but he also masters wind
instruments from the Andean region.
Edgar stands out as a flutist, singer and
composer. He has perfomed together with
several famous musicians in Argentina
and Uruguay.
He lives in Oslo, where he is the lead
singer and plays the flute in groups INTI
FUSION and Wari.
For Concerts, he works with the program
Radio musical and Toner from Peru and
Bolivia.
He also holds concerts in Peru as a soloist.
