INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
ATTENTION INSTALLER (if other than owner): Please
forward this Instruction Sheet to the purchaser of this
product. These instructions contain valuable information
necessary to the end user.

INTRODUCTION: These instructions describe the
procedure for properly installing the quiet baffle on the
Python Rayzer Slip-On mufflers for Dressers.
Review instructions carefully before beginning, as
they contain important information. Please retain for
future reference.
Particularly important information is distinguished in these
instructions by the following notations:
NOTE: A NOTE provides key information to make
procedures easier or clearer.
CAUTION: A CAUTION indicates special procedures
that must be followed to avoid damage to the motorcycle
and/or accessories.
WARNING!: A WARNING indicates special procedures that
must be followed to avoid injury to a motorcycle operator
or person inspecting or repairing the motorcycle.
TOOLS REQUIRED:
1. 4mm Hex Key
2. 5/32” Hex Key
3. Flashlight
4. Prying tool (optional)
5. Pliers (optional)

PROCEDURE:
REMOVAL OF STOCK BAFFLE
NOTE: Refer to installation instructions
for 1800-0743/0744 for part item numbers
and descriptions.
1. Remove both saddlebags.
2. U
se the 4mm hex key to remove the (4) 1/4-20
custom screws on the rear Python logo band.
Carefully slide the logo band off the muffler.
SEE FIGURE 1.
3. Carefully remove the end cap by pulling and
twisting the cap. The fit may be tight and a
prying tool may be used to assist in removal.
NOTES:
•To avoid damaging the cap and/or muffler edge, do not force
or over-pry the cap, which may result in a poor fit
upon reassembly.
•The baffle is attached to the end cap and thus will slide out
with the cap.
•The baffle fiberglass packing may stick in the muffler. This can
be pulled out by hand or with pliers if it sticks.
4. U
se a 5/32” hex key to remove the (4) 10-32 screws
connecting the baffle flange to the end cap. SEE FIGURE 2.
•Wear protective gloves when handling fiberglass.
5. Set aside all used hardware, it will not be reused.

QUIET BAFFLE INSTALLATION
1. Using the (4) provided 10-32 screws, attach the quiet baffle
to the end cap. Ensure the slash-cut baffle is aligned to the
angle of the end cap.
4. U
se the (4) provided 1/4-20 custom screws to install the logo
band. Tighten the screws in order from the top of the band
out, pressing the band tight between each screw to ensure a
proper fit. SEE FIGURE 4.
5. Repeat the process for the opposite muffler.
2. Slip the end cap and baffle assembly back into the muffler.
Use a flashlight to assist in aligning the baffle with the muffler 6. Reinstall the saddlebags.

7. B
e sure to check and tighten all hardware before starting
the motorcycle.
3. Align the end cap to the desired position and carefully slip
the Python logo band onto the muffler.
WARNING!: Before operating motorcycle, be sure all hardware
is tight.
