resident Orthodontic Specialist is Dr G Fickert. Dr Fickert has been a practising Orthodontist for over
25 years. Our Orthodontic Therapist Miss K Rodgers, is also highly experienced. We offer a range of
treatments options including fixed implements, invisible implements and removable implements for
adults and children.
Dr Fickert has trained numerous dentists in the practice of Orthodontics, being one of the most

We offer three forms of orthodontic treatments. These are: traditional braces consisting of
metal brackets and wires, Invisalign braces: which are the nearly invisible, or the Six Month Smile
procedure, which are discrete, tooth coloured braces which can achieve an elegant, straight smile in
as little as six month.

Six Months Smiles can straighten teeth in as little as 6 months. The average treatment being between 4
to 9 months. Six Months Smiles braces are more discrete because they are tooth-coloured and therefore
blend in naturally with your own teeth. This clear fixed braces system has been proven to offer great
results quickly. The braces are comfortable, designed to move the teeth gently and discretely offering
tooth-coloured brackets and wires to blend in with your own natural teeth.

Midlands Smile Centres in Birmingham and Alcester now offer Invisalign's nearly invisible alternative to
traditional braces. This is a modern hi-tech alternative which uses transparent removable 'aligners'.
Invisalign is just as effective as traditional braces and nearly invisible so now you can have straighter
teeth without braces.
The aligners are made specifically for your teeth by our experienced Orthodontists based on moulds
taken of your teeth. The treatment plans involve a succession of slightly different aligners, each one
bringing your teeth closer to your desired smile. Before you agree to the treatment you can see the plan
in detail, using the Invisalign 3D modelling system.
Being nearly invisible is not the only advantage Invisalign aligners have over traditional braces; they are
also removable which makes eating and cleaning considerably easier than other types of braces.
