Clients must avoid sun exposure & must use broad-spectrum sunscreen
SPF 30
Do not use Retin-A or other exfoliating creams (7 days) prior to your IPL
treatment
You must NOT have recently had laser surgery or used Roaccutane (6
months minimum off Roaccutane)
Clients who have had Injectables (wrinkle relaxers or fillers), should wait
(7 days) before undergoing IPL
Prospective clients should also refrain from tanning or using fake tan on
the skin to be treated for (3 weeks) prior
Do not wax or tweeze immediately before IPL only shave
Avoid hot water, baths, swimming or saunas pre and post treatment
Use skin care face and body products recommended by your Bodz Skin
Specialist
Avoid wearing tight clothing pre and post IPL treatment
If you have a cold sore history Priceline Subiaco provide over the counter
tablets ELOVAX (3 tablets) taken 1 hour before IPL
Results will vary and will need several treatments to obtain the desired

A doctors letter maybe required to confirm there is no evidence of skin

Use skin care and body products recommended by your Bodz Skin
Specialist
There may be swelling or redness, up to 2-3 days. The swelling is a normal
reaction and it is not an infection
Use cold compresses if necessary during the first 1-2 days after your
treatment. This can improve comfort and reduce the swelling
Scabbing of the skin can occur in some areas, this is normal please avoid
scratching or picking the treated area, let it flake off naturally leaving new
healthy skin underneath
Pigmented Lesions will become darker before lighter
Vascular can appear to be darker before lighter
If hands are treated wear white cotton gloves whilst driving
Avoid hot water, baths, swimming or saunas pre and post treatment
Hot and humid weather can aggravate the skin immediately after your
treatment
Do not exfoliate or use glycolic, alpha hydroxy, beta hydroxy, retinol, for
(1 week) following treatment
If you are having multiple treatments you must avoid Retinol or Retin A
until 7 days after your course of 6 treatments
Do not shave or use bleaching or perfumed products for 48-72 hours after
the IPL treatment
Drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol/cigarettes or vigorous exercise for
24 hours
Avoid wearing tight clothing pre and post IPL treatment
