Dr. Mahon, a board certified dermatologist, has
been on staff at Botsford Hospital since 1973.
Dr. Mahon has a special interest in dermatologic
surgery and is skilled in the diagnosis and
treatment of pediatric and adult patients with
benign and malignant disorders of the skin,
mouth, hair and nails. Dr. Mahon takes great
pride in the quality of service he offers to
patients. His caring and personalized approach
to each patient exemplifies his commitment to
patient satisfaction.
His office is equipped to perform surgeries
including mole and growth removal, skin
cancer and cosmetic procedures such as
filler injections, sclerotherapy of veins, Botox
injections for wrinkles and laser therapy.
Dr. Mahon’s office also has the latest in laser
treatments for psoriasis.
Dr. Mahon graduated from the Kirksville College
of Osteopathic Medicine. He is affiliated with
the American Osteopathic Association, the
American Osteopathic College of Dermatology,
the Michigan Association of Osteopathic
Physicians and Surgeons, the American
Academy of Dermatology, the American Society
for Dermatologic Surgery, Inc., the Michigan
Dermatological Society and North American
Society of Phlebology. He is past president of the
American Osteopathic College of Dermatology
and an Assistant Clinical Professor of
Dermatology at Michigan State University.
