Participate in outreach efforts at university classes, clubs, and film-related
groups
Develop marketing strategies for promotion of Cinema Center educational
programming, special events, and screenings
Be a true ambassador of Cinema Center’s mission and seek out opportunities
for creative partnerships with community organizations and businesses
Assist with developing a marketing campaign for student membership
recruitment and creating a lasting presence at local colleges
Coordinate marketing efforts with Events and Marketing committees for
audience development and fundraising events
Facilitate special events
Willing to learn box office procedures and be ready to fill-in, as needed
Complete other tasks as assigned by Executive Director and Theater Manager
Qualifications:

Self-starter, able to work well without constant direction, and able to actively
seek out new marketing and outreach opportunities
Extremely strong oral and written communication skills
Very organized with exceptional attention to detail
Strong computer skills
Possess a true passion for independent, foreign, and documentary film
Communications, Marketing, and Visual Communication majors preferred
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75
Time Commitment: Average 12 hours per week, but will vary when working special
events and box office
Compensation: $8/hour
Starting Date: September, 2013
