innovation, Ligne Roset has grown from a small business to a multinational company with factories in France,
headquarters in Briord, France and more than 200 exclusive Ligne Roset stores and 1,000 retail distributors
worldwide. All the while, the company has been family-run since its inception in 1860.
Creativity is a key value of the Ligne Roset brand: if a new product demands new materials or productions methods,
the company will simply acquire them. Seats, pieces of furniture, lighting, textiles, rugs or bed linens: the idea
precedes and the technique follows.
AB Modern Group is a Texas / Oklahoma based company focusing on both contract and retail sales in the design
industry. AB Modern Group represents several European manufacturers of furniture and millwork. With retail
locations in Houston, Dallas and Oklahoma City, AB Modern has developed a strong presence of being a go to
source for luxury design oriented furniture. In addition to retail, AB Modern Group's contract division is focused on
providing both standard ancillary products as well as custom bespoke products and has quickly become recognized
for custom millwork, case goods and furniture in both the corporate and hospitality sectors.
General Purpose:
Responsible for increasing sales with Contract accounts in assigned region by engaging with architects, designers
and end users in this business segment. The individuals in this role will also work to build awareness and promote
brands via effective marketing tactics.
Essential Functions:
● Drives sales/profits for the Contract market segment.
● Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of all products associated with AB Modern Group (ABMG)
Brands.
● Represents AB Modern Group (ABMG) Contract program to dealers within the respective region to
ensure understanding/effective use of the program.
● Educates/equips the trade on all Contract tools/strategy/tactics.
● Leads strategic meetings with architect and designers to facilitate achievement of sales goals for the
Contract segment to establish new accounts and increase revenue with existing accounts.
● Develops/implements effective trade sales/marketing practices to create the Contract 'playbook'
● Provides accurate reporting on project lead and market conditions.
● Formulates/runs an effective brand building/marketing mix for respective regions by building/increasing
awareness of and advocacy for the AB Modern Group Brand and product brands.
● Works closely with marketing team to design/test/assess campaigns for respective local markets that
increase customer connections and result in lasting relationships.
● Observes/discovers/shares early signals on trends and local market needs by targeting/directly engaging
potential/existing customers in this market segment to continuously refine sales practices/technology
tools and to model the expectations for dealer sales teams.
● Demonstrates effective account management practices including working effectively within our CRM
database to prioritize industry segments and identify/engage target accounts, consistently maintaining
sales activity and a contact database.
● Serves as the conduit between ABMG and customers and clients concerning shipment information/quality
concerns/other relevant issues.
● Maintains an appropriate level of sales activity at all times by conducting a minimum number of sales
appointments per week as designated by Contract VP Lead.
● Actively participates, when appropriate, in team-based selling activities.

Works strategically with business partners within ABMG and utilizes the current Operating Agreements.
Conducts all sales activities and processes within the parameters of the ABMG Sales process, utilizing
corporate tools/resources provided.
● Manages within assigned expense budget.
● Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree in applicable discipline or equivalent professional sales experience.
● 2 years successful selling experience that includes a proven track record of planning/execution
● In general, a candidate should be outgoing, a good communicator, possess good marketing skills, have
strong technology skills, be competitive, a hard worker, not afraid to travel, fearless in cold
calling/promoting, able to create a good impression and be healthy/active.
● Fundamental knowledge and/or experience in contract furniture or related industry is preferred.
● Excellent written/verbal skills that include demonstrated negotiation and presentation skills.
● Demonstrates a work style that is high energy, highly influential and can be an aggressive closer.
● Must possess a personal vehicle for the transportation of company products used for sales
appointments/meetings-must be able to effectively handle products without assistance while delivering
them to appointments/meetings.
● Ability to effectively use office automation/communication software/tools used in the ABMG office
environment.
