The Dalai Lama’s visit to Zurich in October 2016
Zurich, June 28, 2016
His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama has accepted an invitation from the Tibetan Community in Switzerland and
Liechtenstein to pay a visit to Zurich on October 14, 2016. The Nobel Prize laureate and the spiritual leader
of the Tibetans will give teachings on several Buddhist topics.
During this visit, on October 14, 2016 the Tibetan Community in Switzerland and Liechtenstein is offering a
long life ceremony to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. After completion of this ceremony, His Holiness will
confer teaching on following topics:

The great master Kamalashila’s Middle Volume of the Stages of Meditation
The Thirty-Seven Practices of All the Bodhisattvas by Thokmay Sangpo
The Great master Nagarjuna’s Precious Garland
This event will be held in Hallenstadion and tickets can be purchased as of June 29, 2016, either online at
www.dalailama2016.ch or Ticketcorner, www.ticketcorner.ch. Tickets are also sold at many ticket offices in
Switzerland.
This event is organized by the Tibetan Community in Switzerland & Liechtenstein (TCSL). With its 6’500
members, TCSL is the largest Tibetan community in exile in Europe. TCSL was founded in 1973 and has
dedicated to strengthen political engagement, provide informations on the Tibet issues to the public,
support the process of democratization within the Tibetan communities in exile as well as to preserve and to
promote the Tibetan cultural heritage in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
