Small enough in file size to email. • SkillSoft: User Interface Redesign (2001) Handpicked for a special project to visually enhance the Customer Control Panel interface elements. Backgrounds, interface color schemes, and icon redesign all had to be developed while liaising with backend coding team. Icon redesign necessitated pixel drawing in Photoshop as icon work area was 16x16 pixels. • SkillSoft: Site Design (2002) Selected from internal development team to graphically enhance a dummy website being used for interactive content development for Microsoft. This involved liaising with the Internal Technical Consultant to give the site a more realistic look. Changes developed in Photoshop included font adjustments, header logo redesign, and alternative layout suggestions. • www.bounce-online.com (03.2002) Project to build a complete brand identity for a DJ collective, contained in a flash interface. The site had to be clean, intuitive to navigate, and succinct for potential venue managers and promoters. Features include streaming mixes encoded as RealPlayer files. Part of a complete brand identity experiment including custom T-shirt design, and CD inlay print design. • FMP CD ROM #01. (05.2003) Offline interactive presentation using 3DMAX, Flash and Photoshop, built with prospective advertising agencies in mind. Features include internal interactive navigation system, contact details links, and cross platform accessability (.exe/.mov). • Rhazel eFlyer. (08.2003) Interactive flyer for premier Hip-Hop artist developed using Flash and Photoshop. Features include embedded links to URL’s and static character animation. • www.remedyireland.com (03.2004) A website for Dublin’s top independent events promoter to accompany printed promotional material. Technologies employed were html, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Fireworks, Flash, and Javascript. Features include a floating menu, mailout form, and externally loading gallery. In development, the site was 2.7Mb, after image optimization and sourcefile clear out = 260kb. • www.iaah-online.com (04.2004) Site development for Irish Association of Art Historians with the aim of modernizing their online presence and developing the growth of their organization through global links to similar organizations. Clean site design through CSS formatting and content editing for screen consumption along with a printable membership form and intuitive internal linking achieved the clients’ aims. • www.tcd.ie/haematology (06.2004) Clinicians website for Dublin’s top university faculties intranet. Consisting of 28 pages, the site employs CSS and PHP technologies. Custom graphic headers were created using Photoshop in conjunction with hi-res photographic imagery. The site had to serve as an academic enticement to foreign postgraduate students, while reflecting the groundbreaking research achievements of the unit. The site had to concur with the university web administration’s stringent and comprehensive guidelines (WC3 Level 2 accessability). • Contract Web Design – Continuum Technologies (09.2004) Design and site development for this award-winning web design agency, implementing cut-ups of other designers Photoshop layouts, header creation, inner page design. Liaising with senior designers, web admin, and project management staff to pick up and continue design briefs on short notice.
