YMI Cultural Center Black Vaudeville Women of the Chitlin’ Circuit Featuring the female performers of the “Chitlin’ Circuit”, the collective name given to the string of performance venues for African American performers in the segregated South. We will feature a documentary about vaudeville comedian Jackie “Moms” Mabley, a Brevard, NC, native. Exhibit created by Kelly'e West, Alumna Emory University; Cultural Anthropology/ Music Journalism Admission is Free!
