Composition

Flumequine
50gm
Propertis:
Flumequine is one of the first generation quinolones , a synthetic antibacterial
agent, bactericide in action inhibit DNA - gyras lead to inhibiting the
production of DNA.
It is active against gram negative bacteria as E. Coli, Klebsiella and some
limited activity against pseudomonas, Salmonella
Indications:
Flumequine is successfully used in the treatment of:
Poultry: Coli bacillosis, enteritis, Salmonellosis.
Calves: Diarrhoea, Salmonellosis, Colibacillosis& respiratory diseases caused by
sensitive bacteria.
Lambs: septicaemia in lambs.
Dosage & administration:
Poultry: 12 mg Flumequine activity per kg body weight.
(1 gm of the products per 5 liter Drinking Water)
Calf & Lambs: 12 mg Flumequine activity per kg body weight.
Contraindication, Drug interactions:
It is contraindicated to be used with Nitrofurans,Trimethoprims
Precautions:
Not to be given to layers producing eggs for human consumption
With drawal time:
Poultry: 3 days
Calves and lambs: 14 days
Storage:
Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight.
