
Medri (CPC) focuses its efforts on the manufacture and development of specialty
vehicles that are pharmaceutical OTC preparations in the product forms of hard
candy, chewing gum, chewy nougat or chocolate for the purpose of delivery to the
user. These vehicles are most frequently applied to fast relief and chewable
preparations in the Over the Counter (OTC) category.
The vehicle for delivering active ingredients requires special formulation technologies
relating to taste to overcome the usual unpleasant taste of OTC actives. The resulting
drug items or preparations are chewed or dissolved with saliva in the oral cavity.
