NOTICE FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Subject: Outsourcing of services in respect of various scientific studies
Director, Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine, Jammu invites Expression of Interest from reputed
national/international pharmaceutical/chemical service providers with sound technical and
commercial credentials for their empanelment/selection for the scientific services mentioned below
to be outsourced on annual rate contract / Full-time equivalent (FTE) basis. The drug discovery areas
of our interest include cardiovascular, CNS, ulcer, cancer, inflammation, diabetes and infections.
Brief Details of Services required:
a) Synthesis of candidate drug under GLP requirement and CMC services including physical,
analytical and pharmaceutical properties.
b) Preclinical pharmacology, ADME & Pharmacokinetics (GI stability, in-situ permeability,
plasma protein binding, metabolic stability, CYP 450 reaction phenotype, metabolic profiling
and in vivo parameters), safety pharmacology and toxicology (rodents: 2 species; 2 routes,
genotoxicity, reproductive toxicity; essential safety pharmacology) and stability studies for
IND filing.
c) Pre-formulation and formulation services such as solubility, partition coefficient etc.
d) Pharmacological screening services e.g. off-target activities, kinase and GPCR profiling,
xenograft model for anticancer activity.
e) Regulatory and IND filing services (for DCGI and US-FDA)
f) Botanical extract preparation and formulation under GLP conditions.
g) Clinical trial management
The prospective service providers may submit their EOIs with proof/evidence of certification of their
laboratories from recognized certification agencies, high quality services, related literature,
certificates of performance provided to reputed public and private clients. IIIM will like to have
presentations on the subject from the service providers on mutually convenient date and time at IIIM,
Jammu. Based on presentation and other details submitted by the vendors vide their applications,
IIIM, Jammu, may shortlist the vendors for seeking commercial quotes and empanelment.
The interested service providers (CROs) may apply to Director, IIIM, Jammu (Attention: SPO) citing
the Reference No. of the EOI on or before 28.03.2013 upto 3.00 PM. IST which shall be opened on
the same date at 3.30PM. Applications received after due date and time will not be entertained.
Director, IIIM, Jammu, reserves the right to cancel this notice/process without assigning any reason
thereof.
