1. What is Benecord dietary supplement – soft gelatin capsules
Benecord dietary supplement - soft gelatin capsules– gathers in a single formula vitamins, essential nutrients and natural substances with beneficial effects on the cardiovascular
system:
EPA fatty acids (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) contained in fish oil are components of the Omega 3 fatty acids class, essential nutrients for the
development and normal function of the organism. Regular consumption of fish oil with high quantities of EPA and DHA Omega 3 fatty acids has a normalizing effect on blood
pressure and blood triglyceride levels.
Policosanol is a natural association of aliphatic alcohols, mainly found in the cuticle wax which covers the stem of the sugarcane, as well as in the seeds of plants such as rice,
wheat, etc. Policosanol has an inhibitor effect on the enzymes responsible for the endogenous synthesis of cholesterol in the liver. Clinical studies have proven a synergic effect
between policosanol and the Omega 3 fatty acids found in fish oil, the beneficial effects on the cholesterol level and seric triglycerids exceeding those obtained by individually
administering the components. Q10 coenzyme is present in all body cells, particularly in those pertaining to organs with high energy consumption: heart, liver and kidney. Due to
the antioxidant properties, Q10 coenzyme can protect the heart, blood vessels, as well as blood components, from the harmful effect of free radicals produced through metabolism.
Resveratrol is an antioxidant substance pertaining to the polyphenols class, in charge with the prophylaxis of cellular aging. Resveratrol was identified as being one of the
substances involved in the “french paradox”: although French lead a sedentary life and have a high saturated animal fats diet, similar to other europeans, as a result of red whine
consumption, rich in resveratrol and other antioxidant substances, they have a reduced cardiovascular risk. Resveratrol protects vascular endothelium from the deleterious effect of
cholesterol and seric triglycerids, restricts the activity of pro-inflamatory factors in the blood and alters in a benefic way the adipocyte's (fat cells)metabolism. Vitamin B class – folic
acid(B9), vitamin B6 and B12 – is a metabolic factor essential for maintaining a normal seric concentration of homocysteine (a methionine aminoacid metabolite). High
concentration levels of homocystein in the blood represents a risk factor for the onset of cardiovascular diseases. Niacin, another vitamin pertaining to the B class, (B3), stimulates
the “healthy cholesterol” (HDL) synthesis. Vitamin E is an important factor in protecting the organism from the free radicals produced through metabolic processes.
