Tyler ® Model No. 711 Double End
Tenoner is used in industrial woodworking applications for simultaneous
double end trimming and shaping
panel type or lineal wood and similar
products. The Model 711 is available
with a maximum of six cutting stations
having 7.5 HP per station. Cut off
length capacity is variable from 11"
through 144." Model 711 has a
maximum 60" load space, 2 trim
heads, 4 tenon heads, all with 7 ½
HP, angle adjustment to each tenon
head, power traverse.
There is no give or vibration within the
feed assembly. A 2 ½" diameter feed
shaft and hardened 10 point drive
sprockets are mounted over the base
rails. The speed drive features a 4 to
1 speed adjustment ratio; standard is
10 to 40 fpm.

molded to cored drive belt

Idler pulleys ride on anti-fiction
bearings. Holddown belt rides
U.H.M.W. polyethylene track
and is side guided.
Feed Chain Dogs: 1 set of 28,
5/16 inch high, "quick-remove"
dogs. 15 inch centers standard.
Fitted into matched grooves in
the chain block. Easily removed
for panel work or replaced inexpensively with special dogs for
non-standard operation.
Drive System: Anti-friction bearing feed. Roller chain to feed
shaft. Torque limiter, dynamic
braking and feed speeds of 10
to 40 fpm standard.
Electric Controls: Protect
against overloads and under
voltage. Low 115 volt control
circuit, fused disconnect switch.
230 volt or 460 volt, 3-phase,
60 Hertz in-put standard.
Traverse-Positive: Manual
standard. Powered traverse
optional. Large handwheel
and digital readouts permit
fine settings.
Safety Stops: Mounted on
holddown beams. Cuts-off
feed power. Keeps over
thick stock from entering
cutting area.
